Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of mohamy.world. By using the platform or creating an account you accept them. Last updated: 2026-09-29.

1. What the service is

mohamy.world is a web-hosting and software service that gives lawyers and law firms a professional page online. It is not a law firm. It does not provide legal services or advice, does not act as an intermediary between lawyers and clients, does not bring clients to anyone, and guarantees no result.

The relationship between a lawyer and their client is theirs alone. Fees are agreed between the lawyer and the client under the Advocacy Law; the platform takes no part of them.

2. Subscription and payment

• The subscription is a flat monthly or yearly amount per plan, for hosting and software only.
• We charge no commission and no fee per client, booking or case, and the amount never depends on the number of clients or their outcomes.
• Payment happens off the platform (for example InstaPay or Vodafone Cash); our team records it once received.
• A Page is published once it is approved and paid. When a subscription ends, the Page stays online for 14 days and then goes offline without its content being deleted; renewing restores it at once.
• The details of a public Page (name, photo, title, Bar registration grade and years of experience) also appear in the “Our Lawyers” directory. The directory is ordered by registration grade, then years of experience, then name, and the plan never affects the order. We may hide a lawyer from the directory without affecting their Page.

3. The lawyer’s obligations

• To be a lawyer registered with the Bar, with truthful details and documents.
• To keep their Page within the Advocacy Law 17 of 1983, in particular article 71: no advertising or enticement, no titles other than the academic title and registration grade, no mention of former posts, no claims of influence or connections, no promised outcomes, and no offers or discounts on fees.
• To keep their sign-in details secret, and to handle client data they receive under the Personal Data Protection Law.
• To review any machine translation before saving it: they are responsible for their Page in every language.

4. Review and suspension

We review every Page before it is published. We may edit anything that breaks these terms or the law, reject a Page, or unpublish it at any time, and we tell the lawyer why. Our review does not guarantee the accuracy of the details or the lawyer’s competence.

5. The Page address

The lawyer picks their Page address at registration. After approval only our team changes it, on the lawyer’s request; the old address stays reserved and redirects to the new one.

6. Liability

We provide the service “as is” and aim to keep it available, but cannot promise it will be free of faults. We are not responsible for any agreement or dispute between a lawyer and their clients.

7. Closing an account

You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time by emailing support@mohamy.world. Data is deleted as the Privacy Policy describes; payment records are kept for as long as the law requires.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Egyptian courts decide any dispute about them.
